Keighley (kēth`lē), town (1991 pop. 49,188), Bradford metropolitan district, N central England, at the junction of the Aire and Worth rivers. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal connects Keighley with Liverpool and Hull. Keighley's products include woolen, silk, and rayon goods; spinning machinery and looms; and sewing and washing machines. In 1938, Keighley absorbed nearby Haworth, home of the Brontë family and site of a Brontë museum.
