a river in Tomsk Oblast, RSFSR; right branch of the Parabel’ River (a tributary of the Ob’). Length, 498 km; basin area, 8,570 sq km. It flows through the Vasiugan’e. There are many small lakes in its basin. The river is fed by snow and rain. There is high water from April to June; flooding occurs in August. The mean annual flow rate is 23.6 cu m per sec. The Emel’dzha River is a left tributary of the Kenga.
