Kennebunkport

Also found in: Wikipedia 0.06 sec.
Kennebunkport (kĕn'ĭbŭngkpôrt`, kĕn'ĭbŭngk`pôrt), town (1990 pop. 1,100), York co., S Maine, on the Atlantic coast; settled 1629, inc. 1653. The early town, called Arundel, appears in Kenneth Roberts's books; the name was changed in 1821. The town is a summer resort, especially for authors, artists, and actors. It is also the vacation home of former President George H. W. Bush, dubbed the "summer White House" because of the frequent meetings there between Bush and his political advisers and other world leaders.

We know Abraham Lincoln was raised in a log cabin and went on to become president, but we also know that most folks raised in log cabins do not become president and, in fact, it is much more likely that being raised in the compound at Hyannis or Kennebunkport offers a smoother glide path to the White House.
I mean, it's not like this happened to Kennebunkport.
