Kensington lock
A security system from Kensington Computer Products, a division of ACCO Brands, Inc., Redwood Shores, CA (www.kensington.com) that discourages the theft of portable computers and other devices. Officially known as the Universal Notebook Security Cable, the locking slot for this cable is built into many notebook computers. The cable is looped through some permanent object in the room, then looped through itself and locked into the slot.
