a river in Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR, a right-hand tributary of the Dem’ianka River of the Irtysh River basin. The Keum River measures 354 km long and drains an area of 3,630 sq km. It flows in the Vasiugan’e. The river is fed by mixed sources, with snow predominating. There is high water from May through July and freshets in late summer and in the autumn.
