Keyboard Instruments
instruments whose sound is produced by means of keys that are arranged in a particular order, making up the keyboard. According to the means by which the sound is produced, they are divided into percussion (the old clavichord and the modern piano) and plucked (the old harpsichord and its variants) stringed instruments; pneumatic wind instruments (the organ and its variants); reed wind instruments (the harmonium, baian, and accordion); and percussion bar instruments (the glockenspiel and celesta).
