Khalilovo

an urban-type settlement in Gai Raion, Orenburg Oblast, RSFSR. Located in the Southern Urals, Khalilov has a railroad station on the Orenburg-Orsk line, 271 km southeast of Orenburg. Industry is represented by a branch of the Orsk Knitwear Factory. The settlement arose in 1935 near a site where iron ore of the Khalilovo deposit was being mined.
