Khaskovo 

a city in southern Bulgaria and the capital of Khaskovo District. Population, 80,000 (1975). Khaskovo and the city of Dimitrovgrad form a single industrial agglomeration. Khaskovo produces equipment for the chemical, food-processing, and tobacco industries. The city has a food-processing industry. The Trakiia Tobacco Factory, one of Europe’s largest cigarette factories, is located in Khaskovo.
