Khatsrevin, Zakhar L’vovich
Born Sept. 5, 1903. in Vitebsk; died autumn 1941, near Borispol’, Ukrainian SSR. Soviet Russian writer. Khatsrevin graduated from the Institute of Oriental Languages as an extramural student in 1925. He made his literary debut in 1922 and published the book of short stories Tehran in 1933. Khatsrevin collaborated with B. M. Lapin on America Borders on Us (1932), The Stalinabad Archive (1932), Journey (1937), Short Stories and Portraits (1939), the sketches Letters from the Front (1941), and several screenplays.
