Khyrdalan

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Apsheronskii Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. Khyrdalan has a railroad station 20 km northwest of Baku. Enterprises include a poultry-packing plant, factories for the production of kitchen furniture and cardboard boxes, a furniture-assembly combine, a brewery, a plant for the repair of Zhiguli cars, and a vegetable and dairy sovkhoz.
