Khishrau

an urban-type settlement in Samarkand Oblast, Uzbek SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Bagishamal’ raion soviet of the city of Samarkand. Khishrau is situated on the right bank of the Dargom Canal, 7 km southwest of Samarkand. The settlement has a hydroelectric power plant.
