Khorramabad

Khorramabad (khōräm'äbäd`), city (1991 pop. 249,258), capital of Lorestan prov., W Iran. It is the trade center of a mountainous region where fruit, grain, and wool are produced.
Khorramabad 

a city in western Iran, in the chief governorate of Lorestan; situated on the Tehran-Abadan highway. Population, 65,000 (1975). Khorramabad is a center for trade in wool, grain, and dried fruit. Agricultural crops are processed in the city.
