Khouribga

a city in western Morocco; administrative center of Khouribga Province. Population, 73,700 (1971). Khouribga is connected by railroad with the port of Casablanca. The region accounts for more than two-thirds of the country’s total phosphorite production. The city also has enterprises of the food-processing industry.
