Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park
Location:10 miles southeast of Tampa on County Road 39.
Facilities:30 campsites with water, electrical service, restrooms, and showers, primitive group campsites, hiking and equestrian trails (20 miles), off-road mountain bike trails, picnic areas, picnic pavilions (é), playground, volleyball area, horshoe pits..
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, canoeing and kayaking.
Special Features:Park offers some of the most challenging off-road bicycle trails in Florida. Formerly the site of a phosphate mine, the reclaimed land features topography with some of the most radical elevation changes in the state.
