Faisal 

(full name, Faisal ibn Abdul Aziz al-Saud). Born Nov. 27, 1906; died Mar. 25, 1975, in Riyadh. King of Saudi Arabia from November 1964.

Faisal introduced a number of domestic reforms, including the abolition of slavery and the proclamation of decrees on strengthening the economy, that were designed to preserve and reinforce the feudal monarchical order. Faisal was assassinated.

The young King has taken over leadership of the Iraqi-Jordan Union following the overthrow of his cousin King Feisal of Iraq, who is believed to have been killed in a military coup there.
In 1975 when King Feisal was assassinated, the principle of succession by the eldest son had been amended in favour of the monarch's younger brothers, but, as has already been noted, however many these were and are, one day they will come to an end
