Kinga

Kinga 

a people in Tanzania inhabiting the northern shore of Lake Nyasa. The Kinga, who have been little studied, number about 100,000 (1970, estimate). Their language belongs to the eastern group of the Bantu languages. Ancestral tribal beliefs and cults have been preserved among the Kinga; some profess Christianity. Their principal occupation is farming; there is fishing along the shore.
