Location: On SC 161, on the border with North Carolina.
Facilities: 115 campsites, 10 tent sites, primitive group camps, 2 group camps, cabins, horsemen's camp, bathhouse, comfort stations, 5 picnic shelters, hiking trails, bridle trails, boat rentals, museum, camp store, laundry, playground, living history farm.
Activities: Camping, boating (no private boats), canoeing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, guided tours, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park is adjacent to Kings Mountain National Military Park (see separate entry in national parks section), a prominent Revolutionary War battle site. A living history farm at the park illustrates the lifestyle of early pioneers.
