Kings Peak

Kings Peak, Utah: see Uinta Mountains Uinta Mountains , range of the Rocky Mts. extending c.120 mi (190 km) E from NE Utah to SW Wyoming. It rises to Kings Peak (13,528 ft/4,123 m), the highest point in Utah. The Uinta Mts. are almost totally part of national forests. Phosphates are mined there.

Dallas, has announced the start-up of production through the Canyon Express gas gathering system, linking wells in the Aconcagua, Camden Hills and Kings Peak gas fields to the Canyon Station platform located in Main Pass 261 in the Gulf of Mexico.
``I'd like to sit somewhere below Kings Peak and hear a pack of wolves howl off in the distance,'' says the founder of the new High Uintas Preservation Council.
The revision follows Pioneer's successful first production of its Aconcagua and Kings Peak gas fields through the Canyon Express gas gathering system in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM).
