Kinoshita, Toichiro (1925– ) physicist; born in Tokyo, Japan. He came to the U.S.A. in 1952 to work at Princeton (1952–54), then became a researcher and teacher at Columbia University (1954–64) before joining Cornell (1964). He made significant contributions to quantum electrodynamics and invariance (symmetry law).
