Kiplinger, Willard Monroe

Kiplinger, Willard Monroe (1891–1967) journalist, publisher; born in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University's new journalism program (1912) and worked for the Associated Press (1914–20). He started with a one-page weekly, The Kiplinger Washington Letter (1923), and added a series of newsletters focusing on economic and business affairs. In 1947 he started the monthly magazine Changing Times. He organized the Washington Journalism Center in 1965.
