Kiplinger, Willard Monroe (1891–1967) journalist, publisher; born in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University's new journalism program (1912) and worked for the Associated Press (1914–20). He started with a one-page weekly, The Kiplinger Washington Letter (1923), and added a series of newsletters focusing on economic and business affairs. In 1947 he started the monthly magazine Changing Times. He organized the Washington Journalism Center in 1965. How to thank TFD for its existence?
