Kolchin, Pavel Konstantinovich
Born Jan. 1, 1930, in Yaroslavl. Soviet athlete, Honored Master of Sports (1956), Honored Coach of the USSR (1970). Became a member of the CPSU in 1962. Olympic champion (ski relay, 1956) and medal winner of winter Olympic games (15-km and 30-km Nordic combined events, 1956; relay, 1964).
