Kolloidnyi Zhurnal 

(Colloidal Chemistry), a scientific journal, organ of the section of general and technical chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Founded by A. V. Dumanskii in 1935 in Voronezh, the journal has been published in Moscow since 1946. Six issues are published annually. Kolloidnyi Zhurnal features original theoretical and experimental works on physicochemical surface phenomena and dispersed systems and the rheology and physicochemical mechanics of dispersed structures. It also contains materials from related scientific areas, articles and short communications devoted to the development of new methods, discussions on the principal questions in colloid chemistry, and reviews of Soviet and foreign books on colloid chemistry. Abstracts in English have been printed since 1956. Circulation, 2,090 copies (1973).
