Kondakovskoe Plateau
an upland in northeastern Yakut ASSR, on the right bank of the lower course of the Indigirka River. Length, approximately 200 km; width, 150 km; maximum altitude, 480–490 m. The plateau is bounded on the south by the Ulakhan-Sis Range. It is composed of sandstone, aleurolite, and schist of the Upper Jurassic period. The surface is strongly dissected by river valleys and is covered with mountain-tundra vegetation; in the south the valleys are covered with leaf-bearing tundra forest.
