Konginskii
a mountain range in the Kolyma Upland of Magadan Oblast, RSFSR, between the Omolon, Kedon, and Korkodon rivers (Kolyma basin). Length, 175 km. Elevation, to 1,561 m. The range is composed of Devonian limestone as well as diabase, andesite, and liparite of the Devonian, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, with small intrusions of granite and granodiorite. Sparse larch forest predominates to an altitude of 600–700 m; higher up there is mountain tundra, which is separated from the forest by a belt of dwarf stone pine.
