Konka 

(Konskaia) a river in Zaporozh’e Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, a left tributary of the Dnieper. Length, 146 km; basin area, 2,580 sq km. The Konka River originates on the Priazov upland and flows into the Kakhovka Reservoir, which has backed up and flooded the Konka Valley in the river’s lower course. The river is fed primarily by snow. Spring high water is followed by a very low water level in summer. The cities of Pologi and Orekhov are on the Konka.
