Konqueror

A combination file manager, file viewer and Web browser that is included with the KDE desktop for Linux. It is also available for BSD Unix, Solaris and Windows. Somewhat more flexible in its presentation than similar products for Windows and Mac, Konqueror can be customized by adding and removing panels (windows).

Konqueror uses the KHTML rendering engine for its Web browsing, which is part of the KDE environment. In the past, Mozilla's Gecko engine was used.

The KDE File Manager
In file manager mode, Konqueror displays the hierarchical view of folders and files very similar to Windows and Mac. If a URL is entered in the Location field, Konqueror will retrieve and render the Web page.
