Korea Bay

a bay of the Yellow Sea along the coasts of Korea (the Korean isthmus) and China. Depths in most areas of the bay are under 50 m. Wide sandbars are found along the shores. Rocky islands are situated in off-coast areas. Tides rise twice a day, approximately 10 m. Ports found along Korea Bay include Chinnampo and Sinŭiju in the Korean People’s Democratic Republic and Tantung, Talien (Dal’nii), and Lüshun (Port Arthur) in China.
