Krasnoe

an urban-type settlement in Slobodzeia Raion, Moldavian SSR, 30 km from the Tiraspol’ railroad station on the Kishinev-RazdePnaia line. Population, 3,600 (1970). Krasnoe has a cannery and other enterprises of the food industry.

Krasnoe

an urban-type settlement in Busk Raion, L’vov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. The Krasne railroad junction (lines to L’vov, Ternopol’, and Rovno) is in the settlement, 51 km east of L’vov. Krasnoe has a sugar refinery, a distillery, a creamery, mixed-fodder plants, and other enterprises of the food industry.

Krasnoe

a lake in the Chukchi National Okrug, Magadan Oblast, RSFSR, near the mouth of the Anadyr’ River. Area, 458 sq km. A channel connects the lake with the Anadyr’ River. The lake is affected by tides from the Anadyr’ Gulf. Several rivers, including the Lamutskaia and the Berezovaia, empty into the lake.
