Kravchenko, Fedor Ivanovich
Born about 1852; year of death unknown. Russian worker and revolutionary of the 1870’s, active in the Southern Russian Workers’ Union. He was a metalworker in the Odessa railroad shops. In May 1873 he became involved with the workers’ circle of E. O. Zaslavskii. He disseminated illegal literature and conducted propaganda among workers, drawing them into the union. He was arrested on Dec. 18, 1875. In 1887 he was brought to trial and sentenced to five years at hard labor, which he served in the Novobelgorod Central Prison and on the Kara.
