Critius and Nesiotesor Kritios and Nesiotes(flourished late 5th century BC, Athens, Greece) Greek sculptors. They executed the first masterpieces of freestanding sculpture of the early Classical period: the bronze figures of the Tyrannicides (477 BC), commissioned to replace those by Antenor, which were looted in the Persian sack of Athens (480 BC).
