Krusevac

Kruševac (kr`shĕväts), town (1991 pop. 58,808), Serbia. A commercial center, it has a hydroelectric plant and an important chemical industry. The seat of the kings of Serbia until 1389, it has retained the ruins of a medieval castle.
Kruševac 

a city in Yugoslavia, in the Socialist Republic of Serbia, on the Rasina River (a tributary of the Zapadna Morava). Population, 30,000 (1971). Industry includes machine building (locomotives, railroad cars, and construction and road machinery), chemicals, ceramics, and wood products. Alcohol, vodka, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals are produced for export.
