Kvarkush
a mountain range in the northern Urals, in theVishera River basin, in Perm’ Oblast, RSFSR. Length, 60 km;elevation, 800–850 m; highest point, Mount Vogul’skii Kamen’(1, 065 m). The mountains are formed of quartzite conglomerate, quartzite-sandstone, and crystalline schist. The slopes of themountains are deeply indented by river valleys and are coveredwith a taiga forest of spruce, cedar, birch and a mixture of firtrees.
