La Linea

La Línea 

a city and port in southern Spain, in Andalusia, Cádiz Province, on the shore of Algeciras harbor in the Strait of Gibraltar. Population, 62,000 (1970).

La Línea is part of the border district of Campo de Gibraltar. It has petroleum refineries and petrochemical enterprises and produces foodstuffs, metalwork, and cement. Many of the inhabitants are employed in the British colony of Gibraltar, separated from La Línea by a neutral zone.
