Labanóro Dūdà
a wind instrument, a Lithuanian volynka (bagpipe) with an animal-skin bellows and three pipes: one pipe plays the melody (it has six playing holes and a diatonic scale within the compass of a seventh), one is a drone, and the third forces air into the bellows. The best instruments used to be made in the Lithuanian locality of Labanoras (hence the name). Want to thank TFD for its existence?
