an urban-type settlement in Prionezhskii Raion, Karelian ASSR, on the Ivinka River (Svir’ Basin), 14 km east of the Ladva station on the Petrozavodsk-Volkhov railroad line. The timber industry is the leading branch of the local economy; there is a dairy and vegetable sovkhoz in Ladva.
