Laichou

a bay in the Yellow Sea on the coast of China, between the Huang Ho Delta and the Shantung Peninsula; the southern part of the Gulf of Pohai. Maximum depth, 15 m. Laichou Bay freezes over. High tides are composite and reach 3–4 m. The port of Lungk’ou is on the eastern side of the bay.
