Location: 29 miles west of Hopkinsville via US 68.
Facilities: Main lodge with 120 rooms and 4 suites, small lodge with 10 rooms and 1 suite (may be rented as a whole unit), 9 cottages, 2 log cabins, 331-seat dining room, 18-hole golf course, 2 lighted tennis courts (overnight guests only), swimming pool (for lodge and cottage guests only); 78 campsites with utility hookups, restrooms, and showers; picnic shelter, playground, hiking trails (9 miles), swimming beach with bathhouse and volleyball court, lighted trap range, fitness center (with weight room, indoor pool, racquetball court, sauna, locker room); marina, boat ramp, boat rentals; paved, lighted airstrip, convention center/meeting rooms, gift shop.
Activities: Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, tennis, recreational programs and events.
Special Features: Lake Barkley Lodge, designed by Edward Durrell Stone, features grand scale post-and-beam wood construction with more than 3.5 acres of glass that offer outstanding views of the lake. The world-class lodge has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and an 18-hole, par-71 golf course.
