Location: On the northeast shore of Lake Bemidji, on County Road 20 (north of Bemidji via US 71).
Facilities: 95 drive-in campsites (43 with electrical hookups), showers (é), flush toilets (é), 2 group camps, group center, picnic area and enclosed shelter (é), hiking trails (15 miles), self-guided trail (1 mile), paved bike trails (6 miles), mountain bike trail (5 miles), wheelchair accessible trail (2 miles), ski trails (11 miles), snowshoe rentals, snowmobile trails (3 miles), warming house, fishing pier (é), boat launch, boat and canoe rentals, volleyball court, visitor center (é), interpretive exhibits, gift shop.
Activities: Camping, swimming, lake fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, eagle/osprey viewing, nature programs.
Special Features: A boardwalk through a tamarack bog offers visitors in late spring a chance to see showy native plants, including lady's slippers, pitcher plants, dragon's mouth, grass pink, and insect-eating sundews.
