Location: 35 miles northwest of Corpus Christi on Farm Road 1068.
Facilities: Campsites with water and electricity hookups, tent camping, showers, restrooms, day-use group facility, picnic areas, screened shelters, boat ramp, boat rentals, fishing piers, fish cleaning facilities, playground, scenic overlook.
Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, birding, bicycling, hiking.
Special Features: Many of the park's facilities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corp during the 1930s. CCC buildings included a bathhouse, park residence, and a refectory, but only the refectory remains. It was built of cast blocks of local caliche.
