Lake Isom National Wildlife Refuge Address: c/o Reelfoot NWR 4343 Hwy 157 Union City, TN 38261 Phone: 731-286-0650; Web: www.fws.gov/refuges/profiles/recEdMore.cfm?ID=42576 Established: 1938. Location: Northwest Tennessee, 3 miles south of Reelfoot Lake. Facilities: Trail, boat launch. Activities: Boating, fishing, hunting. Special Features: Refuge maintains dozens of nest boxes for wood ducks. Habitats: 1,850 acres of open water, forested wetlands, and croplands. Access: The refuge waters are open to the public from March 15 through November 15 for fishing and wildlife observation. The land portion of the refuge is open March 15 through November 15.
