Lake Sammamish State Park Location: On the south end of Lake Sammamish, bordering the city of Issaquah. Facilities: Picnic area and picnic shelter, kitchen shelters (with electricity), bathhouses, boat rentals, swimming area, boat launch, dock, ball fields, hiking trails, bike trails. Activities: Boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, water-skiing, bird watching. Special Features: Park includes diverse natural wetlands, a great blue heron rookery, and the salmon-bearing Issaquah Creek, as well as one of the largest freshwater beaches in the Seattle area.
