Location: 38 miles west of Wilmington and 12 miles east of Whiteville, off US 74/76.
Facilities: 4 primitive group camps, picnic area, trails, boat ramps (near park), visitor center, exhibit hall.
Activities: Camping, boating, lake fishing, hiking, nature programs.
Special Features: Covering more than 9,000 acres and 14 miles of shoreline, Lake Waccamaw is home to a number of unique fish and mollusks found nowhere else on earth.
