Location: 2 miles south of Wister on US 270.
Facilities: 16 modern campsites, 86 semi-modern campsites, 95 primitive campsites, group camp, 15 cabins, showers, picnic area, group shelters, trails, bicycle rentals, beach, swimming pool and bathhouse, boat rentals, boat ramp, nature center, restaurant, camp store, gift shop (é).
Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting (nearby), wildlife viewing, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park is surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest and more than 33,000 acres of state wildlife management land, including a 2,000-acre waterfowl refuge. Lake Wister offers some of the finest fishing in Oklahoma.
