an urban-type settlement in Nadvornaia Raion, Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Lanchin is situated in the foothills of the Carpathians on the Prut River (a tributary of the Danube). It is a railroad station on the Kolomyia-Deliatin line. There are local industrial enterprises.
