Lannemezan
an elevation in southwestern France, in the northern foothills of the Pyrenees mountains, between the upper reaches of the Adour and Garonne rivers. The altitude of the region ranges from 500 to 1,000 m. It is an enormous alluvial cone, formed by Miocene and Pliocene deposits of ancient rivers and dissected by a fan-shaped system of deep river valleys. The surface of the region is covered with scrub brush. The local economy includes horse breeding and agriculture (wheat, corn). Want to thank TFD for its existence?
