Lawless, Theodore Kenneth

Lawless, Theodore Kenneth (1892–1971) physician; born in Thibodaux, La. A leading dermatologist, he taught dermatology and syphilology at Northwestern Medical School (1924–41). He was one of the first physicians to use radium as a treatment for cancer. He was influential in financing African-American businesses in Chicago.
