I realize, however, that not everyone has access to the leaf-mold and rotted manure commonly mentioned in soil recipes.
This bin works well as a leaf-mold container and is easily accessible.
Increase its vigour by cutting away any dead wood and refreshing the soil with plenty of well-rotted leaf-mold or composted bark.
