Lee, Yuan T. (1936– ) chemist; born in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He came to the United States in 1962. Working with Dudley Herschbach at the University of California: Berkeley, he designed the crossed-molecular-beam apparatus that hastened the understanding of chemical reactions. He shared the Nobel Prize in chemistry (1986) for his contributions concerning dynamics of elementary chemical processes. How to thank TFD for its existence?
