(Track and Field Athletics), a monthly sports coaching and training journal, an organ of the Committee on Physical Education and Sport of the Council of Ministers of the USSR.

Legkaia atletika is published in Moscow; it was established in 1955. The journal deals with the techniques and methods used in training the best athletes in the Soviet Union and other countries and the organization of track-and-field athletics, and it publishes statistics on Soviet and foreign athletes and advice to amateur sportsmen of all ages. The circulation in 1973 was 100,000.
