Lenin Yolï

 

(The Leninist Path), a Nogai-language oblast newspaper in Karachai-Cherkess Autonomous Oblast, published in Cherkessk three times a week. The newspaper began publication in 1928 under the name of Kyzyl Cherkes (Red Cherkessia) as part of a Russian-language oblast newspaper; it was published with a Cherkess newspaper of the same name from 1933 until 1938, when it began independent publication. It has been called Lenin yolï since 1943. Circulation, 2,300 (1973).

ABDULLA KULBADDAN was born in Qarshi in 1960, finished high school in Samarkand, graduated from the Journalism Department of Tashkent University in 1983, and began employment as a proofreader for the Samarkand district newspaper Lenin Yoli (now Zarafshan).
